2024 Project Completion Requirements

IF a county requirement is blank in the document, the general requirement for lifeskills projects is:
Project Book: Bring your completed project book and any other records/journals to judging.
Educational Exhibit: Create and bring an educational display on a specific topic related to the project.
Project Evaluation: Answer questions about your project experience including general 4-H knowledge, project book knowledge and activities and educational display.
County Fair Exhibit Requirements: Exhibit your educational display in your club’s booth. If your club does not have a booth, a designated area will be provided.

Youth may be asked general 4-H questions in addition to project specific questions:
- What is the 4-H Pledge?
- What is the 4-H Motto?
- Who is the founder of 4-H?
- In what Ohio county was 4-H founded?
Basic Guidelines for Table Setting
DRESS CODE
- Clean pants, skirts or dresses that fit properly. Shorts and Capri pants are notallowed. Skirts and dresses must be fingertip length or longer.
- Clean shirt or top that fits properly. Writing or images on shirts that may be considered offensive or inappropriate are not allowed.
- Tops, sundresses, etc. must have shoulder straps of 1-inch or wider.
- No hats worn during judging. Hats that are part of an ensemble or costume should be removed when speaking with judges.
- No flip-flops.
- Hair should be neatly styled and not hanging in the face. The judges want to see who they are talking to!
Overall: Dress to show respect for the judges and for yourself.
