We hope this landing page will be helpful to each of you as you guide your club members. Below you will find digital files of documents and a rough timeline of highlights needing to be completed by advisors throughout the 4-H year. They are organized chronologically in the general order they are needed and expected to be returned to the Extension Office.

• Financial Summaries due
• Internal club audits completed 
• Mandatory volunteer training and policy 1.50 training 
• Updated background checks completed (if necessary for renewal)

March - April

• Enrollment PUSH and Countywide Open House
• Ohio 4-H Week
• Club Meeting Toolkit 
• Start the discussion of 4-H Winning Plans 
• Fill out Cross County Line documents 
• Provide club officer handbooks 

May

• BIG CLUB DEADLINE #1. Please submit the following to OSUE by May 1.
  • 4-H Project Book order form
  • Ohio 4-H Charter Checklist
  • Club Calendar
  • Club Officer List
  • Updated Constitution & Bylaws
• FairEntry OPENS

June

• BIG CLUB DEADLINE #2. Please submit the following to OSUE by June 1.
  • Club members add/drop projects
  • Animal Lease paperwork
  • Required Horse Documents 
• FairEntry CLOSES 

July - August

• Book judging events
• Market Livestock Photos DUE 
• Setting up booths and stalls at the fair
• Picking up 4-H Club packets at the Extension Office

September - October

• Club Service Awards DUE
• Secretary & Treasurer Books DUE
• Older Youth Applications OPEN

November - December 

• End of year celebration!
