Emily is a 2016 graduate of the Ohio State University, ATI with an Associate’s in Agricultural Communications. Her favorite OSU program was the 2016 summer Study Abroad trip to Ghana, Africa, where she taught poultry production to 6th graders at the Rising Star Academy. Throughout her youth she was highly involved with 4-H, serving as a camp counselor, Junior Fairboard President, Coshocton County Fair Queen, and held several different club offices during her 11-year membership. She is excited to be the newest member of the OSU Extension team, and looks forward to giving back to the organization that has given her so much experience and opportunity. Emily attributes many of her leadership skills and abilities to her involvement in 4-H. She hopes to be a positive influence and mentor to Holmes County youth through the new STEAM project and other innovative youth development programs. Emily lives on a small homestead in Coshocton County with her husband, Blake, and daughter, Brynlee. She enjoys gardening, being a "chicken tender", reading, spending time with her family, swimming, camping, and partaking in various outdoor activities.
