  1. Cooking with Kate – Come Together

    Apr. 29, 2021

A few months ago, I started a Zoom call by asking people to share what they are looking forward to doing again “post-pandemic.”  Not surprisingly, most of the responses had something to do with other people.  Hugging family.  Going out as a group.  Sitting down to dinner with friends.  Guidance has been slowly coming out about how, where, and how many people can safely gather this summer.

  7. Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification Update

    Jan. 05, 2021

There are a lot of questions surrounding pesticide and fertilizer recertification for 2021. As you all know, deadlines for the recertification continue receiving extensions and the guidelines for in-person meetings keep changing. These circumstances make planning, and hopefully getting to hold, an in-person recertification meeting very challenging. A local, multi-county team is working on how we can best work within the guidelines that we have been given while also serving and meeting the needs of our agricultural clients.
