    **Both sessions open 9am to 1pm.

    Only the lid is needed for testing, not the whole canner.

    Sunday, August 7th (unless otherwise noted).

    Beef Breeding, Feeders, & Steers: 7pm – 9pm, Weigh-in 9pm. Unload at the door facing the Beef tack tents towards the horse barn.

    ·Dairy Cows & Heifers: Noon Sunday – 8am Monday. Unload at the door facing the Beef tack tents towards the horse barn.

    ·Dairy Feeders & Steers: 6pm – 8pm, Weigh-in at 8pm. Unload at the door facing the Beef tack tents towards the horse barn.

    Our Market Livestock buyers appreciate receiving the placard and photo of the animal they purchased and the 4-H or FFA member who raised that animal. 

    You are now expected to submit your own photo of you and your Market Livestock Project.

    The Rabbit Tattooing & Fun Show begins at 5pm on Friday, July 22nd

    Focused on hands on showmanship practice, the Rabbit Showmanship Clinic is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m at Harvest Ridge Fairgrounds.

    Meat Rabbit Tattooing from 5 to 6 p.m.

    Breeding/Pet Rabbit Tattooing from 7 to 8 p.m.

  9. Commissioners Award Applications Due July 15th

    The Holmes County Commissioners annually sponsor four awards to recognize outstanding 4-H members in the areas of Citizenship and Leadership. Members may be nominated by parents, volunteers, or they may nominate themselves! The categories and age groups are:

    · Junior Citizenship: 4-H members in grades 7-9 as of January 1

    · Junior Leadership: 4-H members in grades 7-9 as of January 1

    · Senior Citizenship: 4-H members in grade 10-12 as of January 1

    Senior Leadership: 4-H members in grade 10-12 as of January 1
