Ticks are more than a nuisance—they pose real health risks to people and animals. This free, hands-on program will cover how to identify tick habitat, perform your own tick surveys using drag methods, and reduce tick exposure on farms, pastures, and around the home. Participants will also learn best practices for protecting themselves and their livestock, and hear insights from a tick research expert Dr. Tim McDermott DVM and Troy Koser on local species and disease concerns.

Designed for livestock owners, horse & pet owners, and outdoor enthusiasts.
