The Holmes County Extension office is now seeking 4-H volunteers for the 2017 4-H year. Volunteers can serve in a variety of positions including Organizational Club Leader, Project Leader, Resource Leader, Cloverbud Leader, or Species Volunteer in one of Holmes County's 29 4-H clubs of 8 animal species committees. Full positions descriptions and contact information for each club and committee is available at the extension office.
The animal species committees include: Beef, Dairy, Goat, Horse, Llama/Alpaca, Rabbit, Sheep, Swine
New volunteers are asked to complete an application, submit 3 references, complete a BCI background check (which is reimbursed), be interviewed, and participate in new volunteer orientation to become an approved Ohio 4-H Volunteer.
4-H volunteers work to "Make The Best Better" by providing positive mentorship to Holmes County youth. Start making a difference today! Applications are due by Februart 1, 2017.
