Holmes County 4-H Quality Assurance Dates

The Test Out option will also be offered this year. Cost remains at $5.  Members ages 12-18 may take a QA test. If they pass (70% or better), they will be exempt from QA until they reach the next division level (Intermediates 12-14, Seniors 15-18). Tests will be given by appointment only. Tests are available March 1 thru May 31, at the OSU Extension office by appointment only.

If member is enrolled in a market livestock, market poultry, lactating dairy, or lactating goat project and intends to exhibit their animal at the Holmes County Junior Fair and the animal is destined to terminal or partial sale, the member is required by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) to attend a Quality Assurance (QA) session.

Member may not exhibit animal at the Holmes County Fair unless he/she attends a QA session.
