    Employee Training is a four-hour basic food safety training which meets Level 1 Training Requirements for food service workers. The Employee Training enhances employee understanding of major food safety principles, including time and temperature abuse, cross-contamination, and personal hygiene. The program includes a National restaurant Association Education Foundation handbook, several hands-on activities, lots of class participation, and a Certificate of Completion.

    Fertilizer Application Recertification, 10:30 to 11:30a.m. Pesticide Application Recertification, 12:30 to 3:30p.m. Categories Offered: Core, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6  IF attending both sessions, packing your own lunch is recommended due to time constraints

    Catergories Offered: Core, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 No Fertilizer recertification offered at this session. Please call (330) 674-3015 to pre-register. There is a $35 fee paid at the training site you attend. Please remember to bring your pesticide license with you to the training session and plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before start time to sign-in and collect handouts. **You must also send $30.00 with the renewal application to the Ohio Department of Agriculture. This covers your applicators license for three years.

  9. Jan. 28, 2020 6:00pm

    If 4-H member is enrolled in a market livestock, market poultry, lactating dairy, or lactating goat project and intends to exhibit their animal at the Holmes County Junior Fair and the animal is destined to terminal or partial sale, the member is required by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) to attend a Quality Assurance (QA) session. Member may not exhibit animal at the Holmes County Fair unless he/she attends a QA session.
