Emergencies can be stressful—but preparation builds confidence. This one-hour educational program provides an overview of recommended supplies for an on-farm veterinary emergency box, including wound care basics, vital sign monitoring, restraint and safety considerations, and critical documentation to keep accessible. Participants will learn what veterinarians need during an emergency call and how proper preparation supports animal welfare and strengthens the Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR). Designed for cattle, sheep, goats, and horses, this program emphasizes readiness—not replacing your veterinarian. If BQA certification or Recertification is needed it will be offered at this event as well. Free Ice Cream will be provided at event, come to learn and enjoy a cool treat!
