CARTEENS

CARTEENS is a program for teens of driving age who wish to develop leadership skills and encourage other teens to drive safely. Members of CARTEENS plan the Mock Crash that alternates yearly between Hiland and West Holmes High Schools.

2005 Mock Crash

The 2005 Mock Crash was held at West Holmes High School on May 12, 2005. A group of youth volunteers under the direction of Dona Roberts and Pat & Larry Lang. this dedicated group of youth met over a period of 3 months to plan each and every detail of the crash and the days events.

Upcoming Mock Crash

The 2006 CARTEENS Mock Crash will take place during the spring at Hiland High School. Teens who are of driving age may become involved in the planning of/acting in the Mock Crash. Please contact the OSU Extension at 330-674-3015 for more information.
